To the special person reading this: YOUR ATTITUDE IS IMPORTANT! - Nov 15,2009

"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, that what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we embrace for that day. We cannot change our past..we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have and that is our attitude... I am convinced that life is 10% of what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And it is with you...we are in charge of our attitudes" - Life principle, author unknown

People have asked me how do you deal with life after you have been through so much as a young person- sexual abuse, physical abuse, mental abuse, divorce, gaining the American dream (house, husband, millions) and then giving it up in a nasty divorce, being stricken with a mental illness, and so much more...how do you find peace, joy, happiness, contentment? What makes you truly smile and feel young?
My attitude.
One day, I woke up and made a conscious decision not to live by default (sleep walk through life and not pay attention to where I was going and why I was doing things) and to say each and every day "I am VICTORIOUS and not a VICTIM" and to walk around with the attitude I AM A SURVIVOR.
To honestly believe that God didnt make a mistake when he made me and to learn to love and like myself. And to look at all the hell I had come through and see that I am still standing because of God. This helped me to know he is truly with me.That gave me an attitude of power. Not of powerlessness.
And I know this much, GOD IS WITH YOU.
And so if you have been walking around with an attitude of defeat, unhappiness, sadness, depression, no enthusiasm, and lack, LET IT GO. Change your reaction and attitude to your circumstances to one of POSITIVENESS and you will see your life and circumstances change the moment that you do this. So you ask, how do you do this? this is how:
Step 1: Change your attitude. When you see that you have survived and are alive after all of it. whatever that is, than make a decision right now to develop an attitude of happiness, joy, and praise to god. and how do you become happy especially when your circumstances didnt change? (you still are where you where one minute ago) you say to yourself "Self, I am not going to look back from where I just came, I am not going to be worried about where i am going, I am going to be content in this moment enjoying the good things that I do have and the fact that I woke up this morning when so many are dead and i made it. this alone is a miracle".
Step 2: start noticing the miracles in your life and thanking god for them. did you ever just one day wake up and have a good day all day because so many good things came your way? wouldnt you want that all the time? then the way to do that is to just look for the good to come your way and for god's blessings and it will happen. and when they come, thank god for them. and more will come.
here is a secret. happiness is not a stopping point, IT IS NOT. It is not like the tv shows and movies we watch that come to an end. YOU KEEP ON LIVING. and so does happiness. When you get happiness, look to get more. Happiness should be a journey for you. A fun adventure
And lastly Step 3: I will repeat a lesson I say each time I get on camera on Taboo Talk. NEVER GIVE UP THE CHILD IN YOU. The only way to get into the kingdom of god is if you have the kid in you alive. So whatever makes you feel young and have faith like a little kid, do that. I admire most men. They keep the kid in themselves alive. They play with their playstations and nintendo and watch wrestling like when they were five. that's cool. everybody should do that. I have a collection of African American barbie dolls and all the toys i had as a kid around to keep me happy. What are you doing to feel young? Get about doing you.

Well your attitude. What you choose to believe about yourself and how you choose to act will dictate the life you will have and the happiness you will experience in your lifetime. This part God has left for you to find for yourself. But I wrote this today to help you get there because I know, if you have the wrong attitude, it doesnt matter how rich you are you will be miserable. I am living proof of that. I find that I am happier now with less than when I had more. All because of my attitude change. And so now I am ready to go back to having more because of what I just told you. My attitude is better now.
So I hope this note on attitude has helped you along your journey.

To the special person reading this: Aun update on the prophetic word for 2009 - Nov 05,2009

We are in November. The prophetic word for this year that God gave me was that you would receive double portion of his grace, favor and mercy in every area of your life this year and that come December 24, 2009 you would look back over this year and see it for yourself. Here we are in November and I have so many of you telling me that they have indeed seen this come to pass for themselves. I too can say that God has blessed me to his very word.
How can you tell for yourself? Right now we are living in a recession and economic crisis where people have lost their jobs, homes, savings and social standing, HAVE YOU? NO. Praise God, no you have not. In fact, I know today you had several good meals to eat, you are at home now reading this note and you have all of your possessions. This thanksgiving you will be having a thanksgiving meal and at christmas, a celebration of our lord and savior. Trust me when I tell you, everyone in the world can not say this.
God's favor, grace and mercy has kept you. And given you extra. You were able this year to go out to places and to do things for your enjoyment and to have a good life.
God's favor, grace and mercy has blessed you.
You have seen double portion my friend, because while others are experiencing lack and famine, zero, you have had plenty.
Take time today to thank God for his anointing on your life and the blessing that comes from being a part of this ministry. For he is truly present.
I thank God for his word. His blessing, his favor, his mercy and his blessing.
I remember saying to God when I got the message December 24, 2008 to say on Taboo Talk radio show, "Lord, I sure am happy that I work for you and you back up your word because I know I wont be looking like a fool this time next year" and I am not. Taboo Talk radio show is listened to all over the world and not one person who listens to the show has sent in a negative report. GOD IS AWESOME ALL THE TIME.
BE ENCOURAGED. You made it through.
And the year is not over.
God will still continue to keep you, protect you and ensure that you are safe, happy and living a good life as we head into the winter season. Stand firmly on his word (luke 1;37 "for with god nothing shall be impossible, and Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Jesus Christ Who strengthens me"). DONT FLINCH. DONT BE MOVED BY WHAT YOU SEE. But go on what you have seen throughout this year, Jesus and God have never left and nor will they forsake you so you can face anything with confidence that you will be victorious.
I had to tell you today how fortunate we are to have known upfront what our forecast for this year would be like, REGARDLESS of what trials would have come our way. God always gives his people provision. I was just thanking God today for giving me the word to deliver to you and how honored and humbled I felt.
Well serving you through radio, tv, books, internet and events to help you in your walk with God has been a pleasure and honor for me. I thank you. And I thank you for being a part of this ministry by being apart of the Taboo Talk community. I will continue to pray for and thank God for you everyday. Rest knowing that here in Heaven On Earth you are thought about and cared for 24/7 365 because you are very special.
Well that's all I wanted to say in this update, except for one last thing
